- Received an email to check portal. Knew it was coming after not getting last week's early email, but still disappointed. 2 pubs applying computational methods, a good amount of graduate coursework in target areas, was told by recommenders that my SOP and LORs were strong. Maybe they didn't like that I was switching from a hard engineering discipline rather than having a more aligned major like Math or CS.
