- Very sad to learn that, 2 yr of research experience (4 research projects), 2 first-author papers (1 accepted, 1 in prep), 3 strong LoR. Was recommended for admission by the faculty member, but still got rejected by the committee. (I wonder if a racial factor is playing a part in admission, just my personal guess)
