- "Thank you so much for your application to the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Health Policy and Management PhD for the 2022 Fall entering class. The Fielding School was overwhelmed with the number and quality of candidates in this year's pool of applicants which made our decision process very challenging. Unfortunately, your application was not chosen to proceed to acceptance. Many very qualified candidates, much like yourself, were not selected due to the limited space within the program. While we wish we could accept more, the strength of our program rests on the small faculty to student ratio that provides outstanding teaching and mentoring to our students. I understand this decision is disappointing." Oh, yes it is. $50 for the SOPHAS application and $120 for the supplemental application. This was my most expensive application. Anyhoo, congrats to all those who made it.
