While well respected, a majority of students are in-state who work full time at the health sciences center, meaning, they don't need funding and they pay low in-state tuition. Students are accepted without funding, and if you do want funding, you need to find a professor who has a grant with enough money to find you. This school has a history of not paying students, and if your professors grant runs out halfway, you need to take out loans. Be careful if you apply here!
