- Never received an admission decision despite being invited to interview weekend and staying in contact with grad coordinator. Finally got a notification to check the portal and nothing has changed. I assume I was rejected, and I've already accepted a spot elsewhere anyway. Honestly this is disappointing and extremely unprofessional-- it reflects badly on the PI and the program as a whole when they ghost applicants. If you were on the fence about applying, know that this could happen to you, too.
