- TTPB: This is the case every year with USC, last year I received admit in mid June and rejected it straight away. Some of my friends received admits for spring and some received admits/ rejects in July as well. You may blame it on deferrals but trust me this is the case every year, though I agree many seats may have been blocked by the deferrals. A suggestion, as I have been through this in the past and have heard this from my seniors too - MOVE ON!!! Don't let this ruin your other admits, start finding apartments as they increase the rents as the dates start approaching, worry about the visa slots, book your flights. And as a MSCS students, start coding and learn new techstacks as USC won't give you jobs if you aren't capable. And you don't need USC if you are capable enough
