- UMASS AMHERST IS A JOKE!!!!!! DO NOT APPLY. SERIOUSLY, I WENT THERE FOR UNDERGRAD AND WORKED REALLY, REALLY HARD. REJECTED FOR GRAD SCHOOL. THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THEIR OWN UNDERGRADS. AND THEY ALSO TREATED APPLICANTS FROM OTHER SCHOOLS AWFUL. JUST STAY AWAY, THE FACULTY ARE FULL OF THEMSELVES. LONGTERM WHAT HAPPENED AT UMASS IS ALOT OF THE FACULTY AT UMASS GOT IN EARLY YEARS AGO BEFORE THE SCHOOL BECAME HIGH RANKED AND THE ONLY THING GRAND ABOUT THEM IS THEIR EGOS. AVOID AND SAVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH
