- "Thank you very much for your application to Penn State's graduate program in English. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer you a place in our program for Fall 2021. We not only received a large number of applications; we are also admitting a smaller group of students this year in order that we may offer more support for our advanced students affected by the pandemic. This means that we are unable to accept many excellent students, including yourself, who have applied this year. I wish you all the very best in these unusually challenging times. Thank you again for your interest in Penn State's program." if you knew, then you should've sent out rejections long ago - not April 15th. waste of time & money.
