- Had 2 rounds of interview with a Professor who ghosted me after applying with 6 IEEE Journals and 2 IEEE Conferences published. This life no balance at all. Loool. Anyways, I'm heading to a better program elsewhere. My advice to future applicants: Admission to UCSD is majorly decided by individual faculties and not the admission committee. So, if you don't reach out to some of their faculties before hand, please save your USD 140. Places like UCSD actually breed mediocrity. I'm sure they'll reject the likes of Albert Einstein and Michael Faraday over there. Looooooooooooooool
