- Dear XXX, We are reaching out to see if you are still interested in a financial offer from our department. This is not a guarantee of an offer. We are preparing to make second round offers and would like to expedite the process by ruling out students who have already committed to other universities. If you are still interested in being considered, please email me back as soon as possible. Thank you. I've turned down the consideration as I already accepted an offer at NYU. So, best of luck to those awaiting a positive decision
