- TTPB: There are definitely some good profs in all good schools but that doesn't mean that department administration is doing their job properly and it matters as PhD is a long journey and you need funding. The profs are assigned to you early so you don't get enough chance for lab rotation etc. From my perspectives, Cornell BME is way Better, organised than MSE program. The BME program is also research focused, doesn't have burden of coursework where you need to go through a written qualifying exam at MSE department covering all of undergrads. It's hilarious.
