- My research interest was biomechanics and biomaterials, the professor I wanted to work with was from Materials Science Department, therefore applied at Materials Science. That's it, the nightmare begins.... No contact from so called Graduate Field Administrator or professor or graduate coordinator, none of them respond to even emails or general inquiry. Horrible department, horrible culture, I'm sure they are depressed! May be I got rejected but they can at least tell me what's going on! This is insane, fortunately got offer from Syracuse and New York University, so I don't care anymore. It's just frustrating and that Department culture suckd.
