- To the person who commented "reek of desperation," it's actually really sad that prospective employers don't care about any of that. One of my friends who got a full ride at Duke Law, which is ranked 12, declined the offer to go to Harvard Law School at almost full price (15k scholarship spanning over 3 years). (Over half of the Harvard Law School student body pays full price to attend and Columbia Law's is about 40% -- https://www.lstreports.com/national/admissions) I do think it probably makes more sense to do that for law school or business school, but to each their own. And it is indeed unfortunate and sad that the world cares way too much about pedigree and prestige. Anywhooo, if you are not going to accept the offer, please decline!!
