- Notes
- Accepted with 1-semester teaching assistantship, a 1-semester fellowship and non-resident tuition waiver for whole year. It says here that the non-resident tuition waiver allows non-resident to pay in-state tuition. Does it mean that I still have to pay tuition? And also the TAship doesn't seem to be guaranteed for next semester, so it's very sketchy. I was under the impression that all admitted PhD students are guaranteed to be fully-funded for the whole duration of study. I did have one interview with a professor last month but it didn't go very well. The email only includes funding offer, and they say the admission offer will come later this week. Do I need to find an advisor by myself WHILE doing TA?
