- Just my POV - most if not all masters degree are cash cow programmes. Resources devoted to masters are not comparable to ug courses. ie some PG courses at LSE UCL, Imperial College are notoriously easy to get in because all uni needs the £. BUT you can take Columbia Law School courses as a HR student. Another point - how did you know the acceptance rate is low? Alumnis of this course came from top UK universities with a decent 2:1/first. Graduates from this course went to HLS or ended up doing great things. If you get that feeling from the “all greenâ€s on GC - just saying people who get rejected probably won't be bothered to record their rejections. Third, if you want to go to a “competitive courseâ€, just go for CLS/HLS. Oxford MPP. Oxford BCL. Cambridge MCL. I have three biglaw internship offers on my hands and went to a reputable school. Just in case you wonder how the caliber of your classmates is like.
