- I have also applied to the MS/Ph.D. program. But I don't think we would get a positive decision now, at least not for the MS/Ph.D. program. There might be some hope for an MS admit. To the poster with the outstanding profile: If you have so many publications, why are you even cribbing about UMass? UMass MS is not a research program. Also, getting an MS from CMU and UMass wouldn't matter much when you apply for jobs. You would know all this if you had done some research of your own.
