- To the above two posters; I mean, you haven't been rejected, so keep waiting and keep your head up. I would say that I don't think it's likely, which is why I started taking extra measures. If all you have are delayed PhD decisions at this point, you should definitely be making some last-minute applications and contingency plans. There are a few PhD/Masters programs that are still open, so keep an eye out (Tulane PhD and UF MS, I think, are still open). In my case, I had another option, but a Brown masters would have been preferred due to the faculty alignment for my interests. If that is aggressively the case for you (for Brown or something else), maybe consider taking a gap semester/year and re-applying if this cycle doesn't work out. Good luck, honestly. Times are interesting.
