We were impressed with your dossier; however, our program has only a small number of places to offer. It is too early to tell with any confidence. I will, of course, inform you immediately of any change in your status. Please let me know if at any time you are no longer interested in being considered for a place in our program." I'd be happy to accept an offer from them as this is my only (somewhat) positive response I've gotten this cycle. To those who are planning on declining: it would be greatly appreciated if you could decline as soon as possible! (Also, let's not clutter the results page with rants... we have a venting thread for that :/ )
