- To another person after talking with POI, did you receive a formal interview or just an informal chat? And btw, it might be true that professor didn't know whether the committee has sent out interviews since I've heard a couple friends receiving emails from POIs for interview initially, but later they realized they cannot reach out to them without the committee's invitation. (Though it was already Feb that time, but they really didn't know:( )
