- Two MS degrees including one in the same field and taken real analysis, etc. Absolutely ridiculous. What's relieving is funding situation is not good there, and generally heard (from PhD graduates in last three decades and last few years) most faculty are most friendly and accessible in orientation and that is it onwards. Maybe a blessing in disguise. Program peaked several decades ago.
