- Had an interview late January; the interview was trash, so I am not surprised. But the interview also made me realize that Dartmouth wouldn't be a good fit for me anyway (re: research interests), so I am not sad at all. Future Dartmouth applicants, be aware: the fact that one of your POIs sent you an interview request themself may not necessarily mean that they want you to join their lab. The department seemingly divvies up the interview work among themselves, and so your "POI" actually acts as merely a generic interviewer. Therefore, be prepared to answer questions regarding your other POIs as well. I messed up in this aspect.
