- International student (British). Received a rejection via applicant portal, No interview. Undergrad (Queen Mary) and Masters (UCL) GPA equivalent : 4.0, 2.5 years of research experience, 3 strong LOR's, No publications. Sub field: Hep-th (quantum gravity) It must've been a bad year for international applicants to apply. I'm curious to know whether any international applicants were accepted for hep-th. Rejected from 4/5 now :( Waiting for admission results from Stanford.
