- I was recently accepted to Emerson College's online MS Communication Disorders program for the May 2021 cohert. Although I did not have an extremely strong GPA and my average GRE scores were waived due to COVID, I feel my strong personal essay, resume, and interview got me an acceptance offer. A resume booster I suggest if you don't have a ton of research experience is to become a member of NSSLHA and an ASHA Special Interest Group (costs $60 I believe for membership?). Also, I think there may have been less applicants to May's Cohert as many students are finishing undergrad throughout May. If you graduate in Fall, it may help your chances to apply for May starts for online programs!
