- I got accepted into both programs and asked them how many students they admitted. Princeton accepted exactly 50 students, and Yale accepted slightly more than 50. That is a 33% drop from roughly 75 admits in the previous year. There could be a slight decrease in cohort size, but not much, so that means there might be a slightly higher probability of being accepted off the waitlist. However, given the special situation of this year (especially Harvard only admitting 1/4 of class size), I suspect the yield rate for both schools would be higher. Hope that helps!
