- To the previous...posters? This is what I was told. Many interviews, few acceptances. SoLS doesn't have any training grants and ASU is public-little funding, and they only make offers if they can do that. The school is bracing for some potential financial woes, and they didn't have their budget when they sent out invites for interviews, so they didn't know how many students they could take. I was told PI funding is the biggest hurdle this year. I also contacted some individuals and it looks like there were not too many people who were accepted. Where they are in this process, I can't say. Fingers crossed for those of us who haven't heard.
