- Has anyone who was considered eligible by the admission committee but not offered a fellowship heard back from the committee/contacted by labs about a direct hire in the PhD program? The email sent a month ago states that 10-20% of enrolled students are direct hires, so there must be someone who eventually makes it out of this limbo
