- To the previous poster asking about MAPSS. I completed MAPSS in 2020. When I recieved my rejection from the PhD program my letter also included the info that my application was pushed to MAPSS and accepted there. Maybe they will still reach out afterwards, but I am unsure. The program was very taxing. People refer to it as "academic boot camp" because the timeline to complete the degree ranges from 9-12 months.
