- 1r / 6p (two aren't sociology) This is my first round, completing MS in related field. Reading over forums on this post, it seems like many people who are rejected are highly capable people who are passionate about doing research. What if we all got together and collected our own papers, with no profit motive? It would be difficult, but why not continue to pursue research on the side? Why does this feel like “academia or bust.†We don't need to dance for these schools ✊
