- Applied to the PhD program in creative writing/ poetry and, like many others, only saw that it was mainly MFAs posting their results so I was getting antsy. Received a call from the lovely Barbara Hamby saying that I was accepted and would receive an email with the details in a day or so. From what she explained, this would include a full ride plus a stipend plus teaching a few classes a semester. Applied to other schools but this was the big one for me so I'll be accepting. Best of luck to everyone on their writing journey!
