- Email silent, so I decided to reach out to program directors for updates. I was waitlisted for interview. However, "it is most likely that we will be unable to offer you at interview at this time". So it is pretty close to a rejection already. Really sad. Mayo is my dream school. My background might be too engineering for neuroscience tho: Two MSs in ENG from Top 30 school, 2 first-author journal publication, 1 second journal publication under review, 1 book third-author chapter, 1 US patent, 5 conference posters. 20 month Lab research in full time with official appointments. Clinical study coordinator, undergrad mentor, teaching assistant, all checked. Really sad. To those who really get in this program: Please don't waste your opportunity. Do something really good to the world.
