- Ttpb: thats what i used to believe, decisions based on merit. May be thats true for all other schools and programs. But if you look into previous years result in gradcafe for penn state ME program you will find that there is no post of "I" or "U" decision in mid January. Not a single one. All accepted posts on mid January are "A". I know everyone doesn't post in gradcafe, but at least few of them should be there in previous years. I am not sure though. But I think thats how it works with psu me program.
