- Contacted POI in September and submitted the application in October. Interviewed by POI and another professor on 3rd December, conditional offer received on 18th December. Still no info about college and funding. Accepted the offer yesterday, but will probably withdraw if funding doesn't work out well. Background: two recommendations from US universities and another one from home university (probably strong); an conference abstract published and another awaiting author notification, a journal manuscript under preparation.
