- I applied before Dec 1 and got contacted by the PI regarding an informal interview last week. He sent me a kind rejection email last night. I was quite disappointed since I hoped to work with the PI a lot. I asked for feedback and he recommended me to get more research experiences before reapplying next year, so that's what I'm going to do.
