- Columbia is a ridiculous by product of capitalism. When it's been half a year since submitting application and not hearing back from them, it's shameful if they do not refund the application fees and compensate the fees for GRE/TEOFL score sending. They just wasted our time with applications which may never receive a decision. It's utterly ridiculous. I'm actually happy I did not choose to go to a garbage, capitalistic university whose only aim is to look for $ and not give a crap about aspiring students. Screw them. I have an admit from a better, public university. They don't deserve me nor anyone else still waiting for an admit. You are better off than joining this shameful university.
