- I am part of a program that UCLA normally grants application fee waivers to and my fee waiver status has been under review since December. I recently got an email, three weeks after April 15th, to check my application status. It told me that my fee waiver was denied and that I had to pay to view my application decision. Had they done this with ample time before the decision deadline I would have no problem paying but at this point it is insulting, considering myself and others have practically been ghosted by the department. It feels they are only trying to squeeze an extra $120 out of me. Good luck to the others that applied!
