- I'm absolutely annoyed, frustrated even, by the response of top colleges like NYU and Columbia. I applied to both these colleges for MSDS in mid-December and still haven't heard shit from them. NYU atleast sent a mail that they'll probably release decisions around 18th of this month, but Columbia? Nothing, not a peep. I get that NYC is the epicentre of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US, but students who applied to other programs in these colleges are still getting decisions? 4 months man, how much more time do you possibly want to go over an applicant's profile (which should take no longer than 1 hour)..All this leaves candidates no choice but to wait, something which is irritating the shit out of me.
