- Thank you for applying to NYU's Masters in Data Science. While we have sent out some decisions about admission, we know you are still waiting to hear. We are aware this is stressful, and we apologize. The reason for our delay is not because we have not read your application: it is simply because the current COVID-19 situation has made the entirety of our admissions process very complicated. We are trying to calculate, often with daily updates, what our incoming class numbers might actually be -- and this obviously affects the number of offers we ought to send out. There is much more uncertainty than usual, and we want to get it right to ensure those that do come to join us have the best possible graduate school experience. What we can tell you is that we are still considering your candidature.
