- TTPB ( who joked about killing themselves ): I know you're joking, but check this out: I have 6 years of software engineering experience at hedge funds and the biggest investment bank in NYC, designing efficient, low-latency trading platforms. I DO NOT have any education in computer science, I've taught myself everything. I'm looking at going 0/16 in all my grad school applications. Amazing LORs, a very true POS, decent GRE/GPA, outstanding resume. I got interviewed by Columbia and haven't heard shi* back. But don't worry, the market is solid for ppl with CS skills. 250-400 out there on the street, so even if you don't get in anywhere, go grind in the market. Its all good.
