- Why does Columbia take so long to review applications!? Is the early application deadline a joke? Or are they just reviewing applications on a last-In-First-Out basis!? I'm seeing people who applied right before the second deadline getting their decisions. Meanwhile, I'd applied way back in October 2019, interviewed on March 10, 2020; And my application portal still shows "Submission status: Complete and submitted. You can still update any section.". Seriously, what the hell? Why not just send out a reject instead of making me wait so long. Wouldn't have applied so early had I known this would be the scenario.
