- This was a long journey. Dropped out from a best school in India due to low GPA. Somehow joined a terrible government college. Still poor GPA. (58/100). Later joined MSc in some shitty college. Still poor GPA (7/10). But worked my ass off on research projects. Finally after 4 rejection got into this. Not the dream college. But still for a student like me dreaming about dream colleges is just suicide. But Merced is the best thing I have now. Will be working in Biophysics. So dear all, please don't loose hope. US system is not perfect at all. there are many systematic problems in application process. Crawl if can't walk but keep moving-MLK.
