- Email to check portal. This came at a shock since I got into Columbia and Duke econ MA. Undergrad at top 10 US in econ & math. Great SOP and LORs but low GPA. Maybe they emphasize GPA as a filter since they have a large number of apps as per rejection letter (10,000 phd and ma applications)
