- POI email first then the acceptance letter with full funding. Decent GRE, great recommendation, 1 year full time research experience in oceanography, 1 publication in Meteorology area and couple co-author in oceanography. I'm surprise that they accept me, because I don't have that good GRE score and don't have that many experience.
