- TTPB: That's what I've been worrying as well. I applied mainly to PhD positions and cloned to MS applications where possible. I'm in industry and consider my lack of PhD acceptances as evidence that I need to make a major change to get back on that track. My intuition is that excelling at an MS and making good connections at JHU would be sufficient to get a relatively strong PhD offer somewhere, but it might not be the most cost-effective path. Interested in hearing everyones thoughts on this and alternatives
