- Aiming for NLP/HLT concentration. Some research and short publications in another field, with one research project in NLP. First admit, hope is not lost! Cloned my JHU PhD application to this program. I intend to ask advising this, but any thoughts on how well the JHU MS stacks for PhD application prep? Seems my big shortcoming is lack of extensive research experience in NLP, want to make sure this is a sound approach for closing the gap before investing so much time and money
