- TTPB: Graduated from the top university in my home country. No papers but had 1 year of independent research experience as an undergrad intern. Strong LoRs, several scholarships/awards, high major GPA, especially in my area of interest. I updated my profile mid-February but I'm not sure if this was reflected during the reviewing process. No interview or prior contact with any POI mentioned in my SOP. Received an update on 3/6 and decision email on 3/11 from the MechSE department (associate head for the grad program). No word on my advisor; seems like I have to contact them myself after being accepted. Official letter from the graduate admissions office will be sent if I accept the offer.
