- Received an email with a PDF attached that said I was on the waitlist. I applied to the MS program, but contacted the admissions office and had them switch my application to PhD. My BS and MS are in Chemical Engineering (but I minored in MSE in undergrad and took grad electives in MSE as well as worked on plenty of research projects in MSE).
