- Hi to the comment below about Georgetown: I met the POI earlier last fall because I wrote to her and was invited to a campus visit. She taught me that they care most about the writing sample and SoP. I think my writing sample is weak, because it was a course paper from graduate school in 2014 (I have graduated and been in work for several years), which was old and immature, and the citations were not the most up-to-date, too. Besides I did not change and edit that writing too much before I submitted it as writing sample, so now when I look at a writing 5 years ago, I did notice it was not that perfect. And may I ask did you mean that you were admitted in previous year and reapply this year?
