- TPB: I graduated from the U of T Economics MA in 2017. When I applied, there was a general-stream and doctoral-stream MA program. At the end of my program, there was a lot of talk about ending it because many of the DSMA students went on to PhD programs elsewhere. Since the DSMA was funded, it was a big loss for the program to have those students study elsewhere. My presumption is that they have since ended the program.
