- Undergrad: Cell and Molecular Biology major and biochemistry minor at a top 50 university in asia. Took one introductory C++ programming course and 2 biostatistics course. No other experience in programming or math. One year research experience in structural biology, several months in computational drug discovery, and iGEM gold medal. 4th author in a brief report in renowned journal in the field. I think the main reason is my low GPA (3.48/4). Thought that my major GPA (3.67/4) may be able to save me but it didn't.
