- TTPB: I am international. The offer letter from the department did indicate my sub-field (area of research). The letter is from grad coordinator (the ME grad office). I had no interview before so I believe everything was determined by the committee. Probably there are different committee for different areas in ME and each one has its timeline for releasing department offer. Don't worry to much cuz I believe a Ph.D. admit will get TA at least.
